High Performance Media Store

The Vusion High Performance Media Storage is a multi-tier storage architecture designed to exceed the demanding needs of HD video streaming for scalability, performance and ultimately the end-user experience. Storage tiers are partitioned across a distributed cache of memory and local disk storage on streaming servers, distributed clusters of media stores, and dense media archives. High Performance Media Store clusters provide replication, redundancy (within POP and across system infrastructure) and high availability.

Videos ingested by the VideoFlow Management System are distributed across the Vusion Media Store using configurable distribution and replication policies. These policies can be configured from within the VideoFlow Management System based on customer requirements for geographic access or viewership patterns.
