Vusion FullVu Player

The FullVu Player is the end users window into the Vusion HD Streaming Cloud and provides the controls to personalize the viewing experience. With the FullVu Player, video can be experienced in FullVu Full Screen mode, embedded in a standard web page, or detached in “watch as you work” mode. In “watch as you work” mode, the player “floats” on top of all other desktop applications and provides uninterrupted viewing – taking multitasking to the next level.

The FullVu player consistently evaluates both network conditions and end-user computer resources in order to deliver the best possible glitch-free viewing experience. Vusion’s Smoothrate anticipates problems and will switch seamlessly between video streams, audio tracks and subtitles in real-time. Branding and customization are a snap too; the FullVu Player can be easily branded in minutes by using one of the templates in our Player Skin Library or the FullVu SkinCreator. For those developers interested in taking player building to the next level, the FullVu Player APIs make it easy to create a player with a unique look and feel, custom controls, playlists, advertising and social networking options.

Customizing the FullVu Player: Creating a unique FullVu Persona is easy with the FullVu SkinCreator, simply check options for JavaScript or Flash, player size, aspect ratio, themes, colors and button options then publish. The SkinCreator will publish web code snippets that are ready to be cut and pasted into a web page.

Adding Playlists to the FullVu Player: Creating custom playlists is just as simple. Use the “Playlist” tab in the FullVu SkinCreator, point to a playlist file and thumbnails, then hit publish.
